Activity Co-ordinator
4-day course
This course is designed to highlight the importance of a co-ordinators
role in the functional occupation of residents. Person centred approaches
to activity are identified in order to meet the needs of residents
in nursing homes.
OUTCOMES
Understand the importance of activity and recreation for health

and recreation schedules.

MOVING AND HANDLING TRAINER/ASSESSOR COURSE
5-DAY PROGRAMME
AIM
This programme is designed for staff intending to instruct and monitor
employees on the principles of Safe Moving and Handling in line
with the policy and procedures of the company. The programme utilises
moving and handling trainer/assessor competencies from the Royal
College of Nursing and the National Back Exchange
OUTCOMES
At the end of the programme the candidate will:

made at a mutually convenient date and time within a four week period
in the candidates work place

To enable the registered nurse to facilitate learning in clinical
practice through effective supervision and assessment of overseas
nurses undertaking the ONP.
OUTCOMES

by Edexcel. The structure is designed to realise the full potential
of registered nurses who are working as nursing home managers in
the private sector. It is anticipated that the majority of students
